  21. This self extracting file should include WINCRYPT.EXE, WINCRYPT.HLP,
  22. WINCRYPT.DAT, this readme file, and CMDIALOG.VBX.  Phrases to be encoded 
  23. are in WINCRYPT.DAT.  The remaining files are required for the game to run.
  24. VBRUN300.DLL is also required.  This must be separately downloaded from 
  25. Compuserve or the BBS from where you downloaded this game if you don't 
  26. already have it.

  28. INTRODUCTION

  30. WinCrypt is a Windows game that takes a random phrase from the default file 
  31. (or the ASCII file of your choice) and encrypts that phrase using a 
  32. substitution code.  Each character is replaced with another.  Your goal is
  33. to determine what the correct characters are.  Move the mouse to the block
  34. by the character it was replaced with and click on it.  Enter the character
  35. in the block.  When you have them all right, the program will prompt you and  
  36. allow you to try another.  If you solved that phrase in the shortest time, 
  37. the program will ask for your name.

  39. INSTALLATION
  40.  
  41. The easiest way to install is to place the program and it's associated 
  42. files in a directory by themselves.  Start Windows 3.1.  Open the group 
  43. where you want the game installed.  Start File Manager.  In file manager, 
  44. go to the directory containing the game.  Position the cursor over
  45. WINCRYPT.EXE.  Press down and hold down the left mouse button.  This will
  46. select that file.  Drag the selection to over the group where you want the
  47. game installed.  Release the button.  You're done!

  49. Double click on the WINCRYPT icon.  There is a lot more detail in the HELP 
  50. function.
